Kudos from Our Fans!

"Land of Nod is a integral part of what makes Voodoo a unique experience over other festivals. As an "out of towner", Nod provided an opportunity to see great performances from local acts that were off the beaten path; the national acts can be seen anywhere/anytime. It was a definite favorite of mine in previous years and was key in convincing some of my friends to go to Voodoo this year. The diversity is what makes Voodoo VOODOO!" - Ben Newman, Virginia

What the Media has to Say

"FishBone’s set on the  NooMoon Land of NOD Stage was ridiculous.  Period.  I think they were even better than I remember them before.  The crowd was hype…obviously enough old-school fans in attendance.  And though the guys are clearly getting older, they’re no less swank - just as quirky, but even maybe more so, in a somehow more sophisticated way." - Fusicology

Motor City Vaudeville Revue Combines Old School Antics with Edgy Burlesque and Circus Performance at Land of Nod for 2 shows only! Friday July 23 and Saturday July 24 at 11:30pm!

As the curtain opens you find a lone figure sitting in the shadows, then with a flash the grounds keeper of an old dilapidated fair ground is illuminated.

Who is this figure and why should you care? Because he alone, with the help of some conniving monkeys will lead you and two families on a journey of wonderment with mystery, intrigue, sultry performances.

The Great Roma Carnival normally haunts the hamlets of Catskills and Appalachians on their yearly circumnavigation! And Clovis Monochrome’s Royal Monochrome Circus made their name touring great cities from the murky emerald everglades to the steaming bayous of Louisiana. From time to time, the restless wanderings of these great names have collided in brawls worthy of ballads and bedtime stories. Rumors abound of towns that have suffered an unfortunate aftermath from hosting both groups of vagabonds at once.

Are you intrigued yet? Of course you are .…so please come join us as the story unravels!
