Kudos from Our Fans!

"Dan and his production company are a huge part of an emerging subculture unique to New Orleans. (bywater is where it's at!). Noomoon's cultural impact is obvious in the art and music being produced, and dan does an excellent job of representing these local artists.  These artists  share their uniquely new orleans visions with the world. respect and love!" - Anonymous, Louisiana

What the Media has to Say

"The Land of Nod – the area surrounding the Noomoon stage – was truly its own world within the festival. People-watching was stellar at any time of the day, unique musical acts were constantly performing, and captivating visual art pieces were scattered throughout." - Breakfast on Tour.com

**Please**

Be Courteous to our neighbors by keeping your radio at a respectable volume while you are waiting on the road to enter the venue.

Stay off our neighbors property.

Refrain from throwing trash on the roads or neighbors yards.

Don’t try to park on any roads, there is no parking for miles around the venue.

We wish to make this an annual event, it takes only one bad apple to foul this beautiful tree we have planted.

Camping

The Land of Nod has primitive camping.  Showers are available for VIP ticket holders only.  Leave no trace!  Please keep this in mind when you are cleaning up to leave, by picking up all cigarette butts, zip ties, and other material out of place (MOOP) in and around your campsite.  Pack in and pack out, please take your garbage to the dumpster, rather than leave it at the site.

What to Bring?

Campers: aside from the obvious, bring water, garbage bags, camp stoves, no open flames or charcoal grills, bug spray, cigarettes, costumes.  We also recommend bringing some boots, sandals are not the best choice, as the land can be rough in spots.   There will be food, beverage and craft vendors on site to meet your needs.  You can bring small umbrellas, chairs or blankets for your viewing comfort.

Concert Venue

Campers will be allowed to bring one sealed bottle of water or other non-alcoholic drink into the concert venue.  Bringing your own alcohol into the concert venue is prohibited.

Restricted Items

If you are camping you are allowed to bring 1 case of beer per person over 21, into the campground only.  Glass and other illegal substances cannot be brought in and will be confiscated at the gate.  No underage drinking.  No amplified music in the campgrounds.  No fireworks or charcoal grills.  Ignoring these rules will result in immediate expulsion from the festival grounds.

Campfires

Unfortunately personal campfires are a no-go.  We are not able to verify the safety and attendance of personal campfires.  There will be a monitored community campfire that you are welcome to enjoy.

Safety

Please be prepared for rain, high winds, heat and extreme storms.  Typical Michigan weather in July can vary from beautiful to stormy.

We will have first aid stations within the campground and concert venues.  If you become injured, please send for help at a first aid station.  There will be a paramedic team to pick you up if you are unable to walk.  Please be aware of your location within the campground or concert venue.  The campground is named per section, knowing your location will expedite the help you receive.

Wandering the Land

The Land of Nod is the land of wanderers...but please wander within our grounds.

Wandering into wooded areas will get you an attractive case of poison ivy or poison oak.  The festival grounds are surrounded by prison farmland, trespassing is a federal offense, which WILL result in arrest, the perimeter is constantly being monitored by the Michigan State Police.  We would hate to lose you to the system.

Family Camping

If you purchased family camping, you will be directed to that camping zone upon arrival.  We ask that all campers in this zone remain respectful of their neighbors i.e. watching their noise levels, expletives etc. in order to maintain a family friendly environment.

Fire Performers

Land of Nod encourages expression of all art forms.  However, due to liability we cannot allow any unauthorized fire performances or open flames.  Those pre-approved to perform with fire will be equipped with the proper credentials at all times during the use of fire.
