Special Thanks
The Land of NOD 2008 in Jackson Michigan July 11,12,13 was an amazing experience for everyone involved. NOOMOON would like to thank everyone who made this dream come true.
Paul (Salty) Soltysiak provided his beautiful land and countless hours of labor to ensure that everyone had a pleasant experience, plus he had a road built so we could all get onto the Land of NOD.
Jason Hulce of Klever Design and Dark Course Productions worked around the clock for months to promote the event. He also spent several days working on the site and produced an amazing electronic stage and 'atmosphreak' that entertained the crowd until 9am sunday morning.
Andrea Bacon did alot of everything from driving the tractor to cut the fields, running the brushhog to clear paths, promoting, planning, maintaining the VIP area and helping to make sure that everything ran smoothly.
Source Audio provided two stages with incredible sound and very skilled sound engineers the made all of the acts sound awesome. Atwater Brewery provided delicious beer for the crew and VIP. Aquiessence provided drinking water for everyone involved. Hell City provided funds to pay for the sound and brought two great bands to perform, The Strangers and Amino Acids.
The Pain Tribe arrived a week early, slept on site in the rain, fought mosquitos and worked around the clock to help build the festival. They also created an amazing Pain Tribe Village that shocked and inspired the crowd.
NOOMOON would really like to thank all of the bands and Dj's who ignored the weather reports and made the trek to perform. All of the shows were great and NOOMOON will be releasing a DVD of the shows very soon. Look for video clips on youtube as well. The power of the people involved, the blessing of the sage and the energy pyramids we built kept the storms from hitting us.
We are already planning and preparing for the Land of NOD 2009 in Jackson Michigan. Stay tuned for details and updates and get on our e-mail list to keep in touch. Thank you again to everyone who helped and made it a magical weekend,
Dan the Man?
